About

Hello, I’m Natasha – a Graphic Designer based in Vancouver, Canada.

I have a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Biology and a Minor in Coastal Studies from the University of Victoria. While my love for the ocean still remains, I was uncertain on how I saw myself within the biology space, having always had a creative side in myself. Internally, I was at a crossroads, which is when I applied and was accepted into the Publishing program at Langara College. This is where I found my new love, design. I embraced the finickiness of kerning, the headache of the pen tool, and the agony of creating endless thumbnails that never felt like they quite met the mark. All of which, led me further enthralled with the world of design.

I have five years of work experience in the industry. My career spans working in a communications department, a digital publishing company, and working at an in-house agency within a commercial real estate company. Through this vast experience, I have garnered hands on knowledge working with stakeholders and clients, meeting deadlines while balancing numerous on-going projects, and fulfilling the brief. During this time, I have worked on branding and logo concept development, internal and external marketing materials, social media posts, pamphlets, brochures, long form reports, outdoor large format signage, e-book development and coding, and interactive presentations.

When I am not designing, you can probably find me baking up a new loaf of bread (my next challenge will be tackling sourdough), humming along to my current favourite album (the Arcane season 2 soundtrack), or practicing drawing on Procreate.
